Ancil Hoffman Park, dotted with ancient oaks and bordered on two sides by the American River, is home to the renowned Effie Yeaw Nature Center. You and your leashed dog can stroll among reconstructed Maidu Indian homes or meander along the many nature trails as you explore this 396-acre park.
