The East Bay SPCA has helped injured, lost and abandoned animals since 1874 making 2024 its 150th Anniversary! Today they serve Alameda and Contra Costa Counties at sites in Dublin and Oakland.
The East Bay SPCA is more than a shelter, supporting the increasing and changing needs of animals and people in their community and beyond. Their belief is that all people, regardless of their housing situation, income level, race, spoken language, or access to resources, should be able to experience the joys of the human-animal bond.
