"A dog can make a house a home," says SF's Family Dog Rescue, which has been helping families of all sorts and dogs of all sorts, regardless of barriers, find each other since 2010. Thousands of dogs, some strays from SF and around the Bay, and more recently, dogs rescued from the streets of Mexico, birthplace of Family Dog founder Angela Padilla.

Like Bobo, a sweet senior fellow from Mexico who's hoping to find his own forever family soon. He's a big hunk o' love at 65 pounds, and specializes in long snuggles and naps on the couch. However, it's not all snoozing for Bobo, he also enjoys hikes and outdoor adventures, especially if beaches are involved. At 7 years young, he's a sweet, easygoing boy who just wants to find some good people to love him. Read more about him and get in touch here.

Last year marked Family Dog's first year in its new shelter, which, along with a lot of volunteer and community support, allowed them to save over 1,000 dogs in their time of need—and helped form a lot of families. Coming up February 7 at Anchor Public Taps in SF, Family Dog joins the Beer Week festivities with an adoption festival, so head on down to scritch a few ears, and maybe go home with your new best friend.
