MacPhail Tasting Lounge @ The Barlow

MacPhail Tasting Lounge @ The Barlow

Founded in 2002 by James MacPhail, what started out as a vision has ended up a dream come true. The little winery in Healdsburg (not open to the public) holds 5000 cases of Pinot Noir, and James (along with an assorted motley crew of supporting staff) works hard to make Pinot happen. They source their grapes from the Anderson Valley, the Sonoma Coast, and a few other secret spots.

MacPhail's tasting lounge at The Barlow, however, is dog passionate! They participate in Sonoma Humane's monthly Yappy Hour, and the tasting room staff all own dogs themselves. The winery dog is a big Bernese Mountain dog named Zuni.

Please check winery website for days and hours of operation.
