You are invited to a screening of "Loss and Found", a short film with a comedic twist that is based on a true story by writer, director, and Paw Prints in the Sand foster Jon Mancinetti and his life changing experience with rescue dogs.

The film shows how Jon, after suffering tremendous heartbreak, reluctantly decides to foster a dog who was hours away from being put to sleep at the shelter.

"Loss and Found" also focuses on serious and often unknown issues like shelter over-crowding, pit bull breed discrimination, fostering and adopting. Ultimately, the film is the perfect depiction of “who rescued whom."

Tickets are $20 each. Students with a school ID are free.

50% of the proceeds will be donated to Paw Prints in the Sand Animals Rescue.

The red carpet opens at 6 p.m., screening at 7 p.m. followed by a cocktail reception at Mercado Modern, which is about a block away from the theater.

Screening attendees will receive a drink ticket and 10% of food and drink sales will be donated to Paw Prints in the Sand.

*Please leave your pets at home for this event.
