Canine Caper Nature Walk
March 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
FreeGreenbelt Alliance is going to the dogs (and the volcanoes) on this canine-friendly nature walk in Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve.
Ten million years ago, a geologic convergence called the “triple plate junction” produced the volcanic features seen in the park today. But what strange convergence of forces produced the park’s stone labyrinths? Canine detectives are on the case!
Everyone is welcome (dogs optional).
The East Bay hills are at increasing risk of wildfires due to our changing climate. Learn about our research to help the Bay Area prepare.

This is a moderate three-mile loop with a few hundred feet in elevation change.
