Yoga Trapeze is a tool that allows for vertical, horizontal, or fully inverted poses.
Common benefits include:
- Instant traction on your spine (within minutes)
- Relief of back pain and possibly sciatica
- Core strength development
- Deeper backbends, shoulder tension release
- Functional upper body and full body strength
The class is led by our expert trainer Jessica Herman, who has 4 years of teaching trapezes behind her belt. Jessica has a very personal approach to her students, making sure they exercise safe techniques and are fully accommodated to their level.
The inversion is a great way to stretch the spinal disks and relieve back pain, however it may also be risky for people with high or low blood or eye pressure, face sensitivity to blood pressure may lead to red spots (which usually fade after a week).
If you have any back or joint injuries or past surgeries, it is recommended to check with your doctor if practicing aerial yoga and inversions is right for you.
Please listen to your body and don't push yourself too hard - come out of the pose whenever you feel is the right time for you.
