MVP Los Angeles Community Hike
March 4 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm PSTFree
MVP Los Angeles is inviting you to join them at Griffith Park Mount Hollywood Trail for a 5.5-mile loop that is dog friendly. With the steepest grade of 35%, it’s considered a moderate hike, so make sure to bring plenty of water. You’ll come within 3/4 of a mile of the Hollywood sign!
Parking is available Merry Go Round Lot 1. Hike begins at 9AM SHARP to stay on time, so please arrive early and on time!
Following the hike, stay together for a community gathering with games like cornhole, giant Jenga, other activities, and a potluck!
Our community workouts and events are designed to provide our members, their families, and associated communities with a deeper level of engagement and understanding of all that encompasses life outside the uniform.
Merging Vets and Players empowers combat veterans and former professional athletes by connecting them after the uniform comes off; providing them with a new team to assist with transition, promote personal development, and show them they are never alone.
The program is peer-facilitated and addresses the challenges of transitioning out of the military and sport. Veterans and Athletes come together for a formal physical training and peer support session called “The Huddle”; all free to them! This allows them to rebuild themselves mentally and physically.
MVP was founded in 2015 by Jay Glazer, Fox Sports, and former Army Green Beret & Seattle Seahawk Nate Boyer. MVP is a community that empowers and connects our members beyond the weekly sessions through various events, communication, and trusted resources. Our members are provided with an ecosystem of support, so they are never alone!
Bring hydration and appropriate clothing/gear for hiking and outdoors!
RSVP is required.
