Veteran Veterinary Wellness Mobile Clinic
May 8
FreeJoybound believes in the power of the human-animal bond, and that cost of care should never keep Veterans from this benefit. They offer free vaccine and veterinary wellness clinics for Veterans’ pets.
A 33-foot, custom-built, state-of-the-art Stephen Ball Mobile Clinic vehicle visits the Livermore Department of Veterans Affairs at 4951 Arroyo Road, Livermore, CA. Services are by appointment only, on the second Wednesday of every month.
For information or to schedule an appointment, please call (925) 296-3125 (select option 7) and leave a message. Clinic staff will call you back for scheduling.
Clinics are open to dogs and cats belonging to Veterans of any era. Up to two pets per visit, maximum six pets per Veteran total.
Clients must furnish valid military identification at the time of check-in. Acceptable forms of military identification include a military I.D. card, VA health identification card, discharge paperwork with matching photo identification, or Department of Defense Form 214 with matching photo identification.
Non-military civilians will not be accepted. Those not eligible should explore Joybound’s other veterinary assistance programs that aid civilians in need.
