The City of Santee presents the 8th annual Fido Fest on Saturday, February 17 at Town Center Community Park East in Santee, CA. Bring your dog for a super fun day with pet adoptions, exhibitors, food vendors and giveaways. Event features include:
- Flyball Demonstration
- Interactive Zone: Agility Course, Off-Leash Area, Sniff Station
- Arfs & Crafts: Pawcasso, Doggie Temporary Tattoos, Treat Finder, Yappy Hour
- Contests: Costume Contest, Smallest Dog, Largest Dog, Best Trick
Bring a donation for the donation drive! Here's what's needed:
- Unopened wet/dry food
- Toys
- Blankets
- Harnesses
- Leashes
- Training pads
All items donated at the event will be distributed to the rescues that attend! Stop by the City’s information booth to drop off the donation.
For a Fur-tastic Time:
- Dogs attending must be social and friendly with other dogs and people
- Dogs attending must be comfortable in crowds
- Dogs who display aggressive behavior, as determined by the City of Santee volunteers or staff, will be asked to leave
- Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. This means puppies must be over 4 months old and have completed their full set of puppy vaccinations, including rabies.
- All dogs must be kept on a leash, no longer than 6 feet, at all times
- Dogs must be ready to have a good time, exhibited by lots of tail wagging!
