Paws for Claus

By: DogTrekker Staff

Santa and dogThe question of how Santa Claus can be in so many places at the same time is one that stumps children throughout the world, but the answer is simple: You’ve got to believe. And you don’t have to leave Fido at home to see the old codger at numerous outdoor venues this season.

Santa will make an appearance Nov. 26 at El Dorado Hills Town Center as part of the community’s Experience the Magic of the Holidays event, which also features a fun run and fireworks. He shows up again at a Nov. 27 Holiday Parade of Lights in Salinas, on Nov. 28 for a holiday tree lighting in Pacific Grove, on Dec. 1 for a holiday parade in that same seaside town, and on Dec. 2 for a tree lighting in neighboring Carmel. After a quick trip to check on workshop crews at the North Pole, the man in red returns to the region to take a prominent place in Sacramento’s annual Santa Parade. Ho, ho, ho we hope you’ll go to at least one of these tail-waggingly fun old-fashioned events. Photo: Santa and Dog – Christopher Aloi (CC)
