Don't miss Bark in the Park San Jose 2015, the largest dog festival in the United States, happening on Saturday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at William Street Park.
This annual event attracts 3,500 dogs and 15,000 humans. Bring your four-legged pals with you for a fun-filled day of family-friendly canine capers and doggy delights; a day the whole family can enjoy together.
Bark in the Park San Jose is located in an expansive, tree-lined, neighborhood park, and provides a family friendly, casual environment. The festival features contests, music, beverages, rescue groups, rabies vaccinations, food, kid-friendly activities, and over 75 different dog-related vendors and services, as well as dogs; lots of dogs!
There will also be agility demonstrations, with the opportunity to try your dog out on the agility equipment after each demo. The San Jose Police Department K-9 Unit will be bringing two dogs to demonstrate how canines assist in community policing. To inject a major degree of cuteness, there will be sheep herding demonstrations throughout the day featuring adult border collies and border collie puppies in training.
All proceeds from Bark benefit local community organizations and pet-related charities including Humane Society Silicon Valley and San Jose Animal Care Center.
Remember: All pets must be on a leash. Please pick up after your dog. Doggie poop bags are available at all Registration Gates.
