DogTrekker was on hand Friday October 19th to celebrate MiloFest 2012, and celebrate we did. The evening sold out and 275 guests, some with four-legs bid on silent and live auction items to help benefit The Milo Foundation
and outfit their new home in Point Richmond. The evening was held at the Mill Valley Community Center with food provided by Fish, music by Kraft & Company and table decorations by Bloomers of Larkspur.
The evening included a Fund a Need portion of the live auction, to help outfit the new location with much needed supplies. Five kennel donations, a premium kennel room sponsorship, one “big ass fan” plus 8 cat condos were solidified during the evening! Participants also helped to fund many other needs through bidding on the numerous prizes in the silent auction.
While MiloFest was a success there are still many items left on the Wish List, which will help outfit Milo’s new home in Point Richmond. If you were unable to make it to the evening, or even if you were but want to do more to help, check out the Milo Point Richmond Wishlist
and see what you can donate.
DogTrekker is excited to have been part of MiloFest and to watch as The Milo Foundation gets ready to move to their new location. Check back to hear more about their progress.
