Ready for the ultimate mountain adventure with your best friend? Sign up for a week (Sept. 4-10) at Wild Blue Dog Camp on Lake Tahoe, and you’ll both come away healthier, happier and more closely bonded than ever before.
Held on a 33-acre, waterfront property that at other times of year serves as a 4H camp, Wild Blue offers a full agenda of training in everything from agility to nose work and therapy-dog instruction. Evening seminars and daytime hiking and water sports (kayaking or paddle-boarding, anyone?) are part of the program, but there’s also plenty of time for the two of you to play fetch on the dog-friendly beach or relax in the shade of fragrant pines.
Six nights’ single- or double-occupancy lodging and full board are included in the rates (separate pricing available for pups and their peeps who stay elsewhere), along with all training and activities. Highly accredited trainers with various specialties will lead the program. A portion of fees goes to support canine cancer research, adding a do-good vibe.
