San Mateo County Supervisors vote on GGNRA July 1

San Mateo County Supervisors Vote on GGNRA July 1

Next Tuesday, July 1, the San Mateo County supervisors will vote on a resolution putting the county on record opposing the GGNRA dog plan. We encourage you to send an email to the supervisors if you live in San Mateo or recreate in San Mateo GGNRA areas.

Email the San Mateo County supervisors before next week's vote

Please send brief emails before July 1 to the San Mateo supervisors asking each to pass the resolution and support reasonable and adequate access for people and dogs in San Mateo County.

As part of its “dog management plan,” the National Park Service is about to ban dogs from all of Rancho Corral de Tierra except for a few on-leash trails in Montara and El Granada. GGNRA sites in northern San Mateo County and Fort Funston will also be subjected to extreme restrictions on dog walking.
