DogTrekker is happy to announce the 2nd Annual Bark (& Meow) Around the Block happening Sunday, September 21 in Berkeley. Bark and Meow is a free Adopt-A-Thon and street fair. Dogs on leashes and fearless felines are welcome.

In addition to the many dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that Berkeley Humane will adopt out for free* to loving homes, the event will feature a dozen other rescues from the Bay Area, great food, beer, wine, live music, entertainment, kids games, impressive raffle prizes, and more!
Go to enjoy the fun festivities, or maybe even add a new, furry member to your family.

The event is preceded by a Hero Walk Around the Block that puts the “fun” in fundraising. Participants can make a donation, join the walk and be the hero of a homeless dog or cat hoping to be adopted on this day! Your participation helps underwrite adoption fees and eliminates the financial barrier that might otherwise prevent a deserving animal from going to a loving home.
Pre-register for the HERO WALK here, and check-in between 9:30 -10 a.m. at 2700 Ninth Street, Berkeley, on Sunday, September 21. Your donation of $50 or more entitles you to a goody bag upon check-in that contains an exclusive Bark (& Meow) Around the Block t-shirt. The walk begins at 10 a.m.
*Berkeley Humane will waive all adoption fees for qualified adopters. Standard application and screening processes apply.
