Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe

Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe 2011

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe works to improve the lives of animals through adoption, community spay/neuter services and humane education programs. Since the city of Truckee currently lacks an animal shelter, HSTT is fundraising for that purpose; currently critters in its care reside either at the town kennel or in one of the Society's extensive network of foster homes, which allows it to rescue a far greater number of dogs and cats than would otherwise be possible.

One of their current seekers of a new place is Ralph, a chocolate Lab who's 5 years old and had a happy life with his previous person, who took him everywhere until the owner's illness got in the way. Now Ralph's looking for a new family--he loves kids and other dogs and looks forward to sharing a happy life with the people in his new forever home.

Bring your dog and party with HSTT at these events in August.
