Animal Control provides services to all of Colusa County. This includes the cities of Williams and Colusa as well as all of the unincorporated areas of the county, including Arbuckle, College City, Delevan, Grimes, Maxwell, Princeton and Stonyford.
Services include issuing pet licenses to citizen of Colusa county, enforcing animal-related laws and ordinances, impounding stray and surrendered animals, investigating complaints and providing temporary shelter to lost and abandoned animals.
The Colusa County Animal Shelter primarily has dogs and cats available for adoption.
