Dixie Canyon Park

Dixie Canyon Park

Located in a California black walnut and coast live oak woodland above the San Fernando Valley in Sherman Oaks, Dixie Canyon Park is a deeply shaded twenty-acre open space preserve donated to the Conservancy by actor Warren Beatty in 1986. A hiking-only trail meanders up the center of the canyon initially alongside a perennial stream.

Directions: This park is accessed from the San Fernando Valley. Beginning at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Dixie Canyon Avenue, head south on Dixie Canyon Avenue .8 mile, turn left on Dixie Canyon Place. Continue for .1 mile. Access the park entrance via the stairs at the end of the cul-de-sac.
