The Hemlock Tavern is a bar and live music venue located at 1131 Polk Street, in between Post & Sutter Streets, in San Francisco’s Lower Polk neighborhood.
Hemlock boasts a large rectangular bar on two levels with big tables, lots of seating and a separate heated smoking lounge.
See live shows in a small venue to the back, with up and coming local and touring bands. It's mostly rock, but they also showcase other music, comedy and spoken word.
