Imperial Beach in San Diego, often referred to as the “Most Southwesterly City in the U.S.” is in fact, the southern most beach town in California, located just five miles northwest of Tijuana, Mexico. Dogs are allowed in the beach area of the City if they are leashed, and as long as the dogs are not in any beach area from Imperial Beach Boulevard to Palm Avenue.
