Laguna Seca Recreation Area

Located in California’s beautiful central coast, Laguna Seca Recreation Area, part of Monterey County Parks, is a must-see for naturists, hikers, bicyclists and anyone that enjoys the outdoors.

Visitors can camp on the surrounding hillsides for a serene view of the Salinas Valley. Both RV and tent camping are available year-round in a clean, friendly environment. The park is just a short drive from the Monterey Peninsula, Salinas Valley, Carmel Valley and Big Sur.

With a mild year ‘round climate, it is an ideal retreat for nature lovers, hikers and automobile enthusiasts. The campground has accommodations to suit the smallest tent camper up to large motor coaches.

Please note that at Laguna Seca, dogs aren’t allowed on the hillsides, in the paddock or grandstands at any time. Otherwise, walks around the facility are fine. During events, they’re only allowed in campsites.

Dogs are welcome at all County of Monterey parks, trails and campgrounds. They must be on a leash no longer than 6’ and supervised at all times. Please be courteous and pick up after your pets, keeping the parks beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
