The Otay Valley Regional Park represents one of the major open space areas within the southern area of San Diego County, linking south San Diego Bay with lower Otay Lake.
OVRP is located in the southern part of San Diego County four miles north of the international border with Mexico and eight miles south of downtown San Diego.
The park offers its visitors a relaxing sense of well being in a natural river valley.
Park includes multi-use trails for hiking, biking and limited equestrian riding, fishing ponds and Ranger Station with interpretive panel that gives a brief overview of the different parts of the river valley and the wildlife in those areas.
