We rescue dogs from local shelters and enroll them in a 10 week training program in one of our Cell Dogs Programs at local juvenile and adult correctional facilities. Upon graduating from the program, the dogs are lovingly adopted into their “fur-ever” homes. In addition to saving the lives of wonderful shelter dogs, our program helps rehabilitate incarcerated youth and adults as they learn key life and career skills, which help them become better individuals when they return to the community. In our program at the CA Institution for Women, the women train dogs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
