Park in the Tenaya Lodge parking lot and take the stairs down toward the Summerdale BBQ location. Walk across the horseshoe pit areas and continue past the old climbing wall and continue about a 100-yards to the creek. Follow the creek left and take the path that leads you back up to the original trail and hotel.
