They say every dog has his day; well, your dog is bound to have the perfect day, night or multiple night stay in the coastal Mendocino County town of Fort Bragg. Located just north of the town of Mendocino, this once booming fishing community is rich in dog-friendly lodging, dining, attractions, hikes and beaches.

Hikes include the Noyo Headlands Coastal Trail and MacKerricher State Park. Beaches include Glass Beach, Noyo Beach and Seaside Beach. Dog-friendly Fort Bragg dining includes HarborView Bistro & Bar, Silver’s at the Wharf, Sea Pal Cove and Piaci Pub and Pizzeria.
