Sip and Stroll

sip and stroll

Like wine tasting but don’t have the time or inclination to visit area wineries by car? With a growing number of tasting rooms in town, almost all of them dog-friendly, the two of you can stroll and sip at your own pace.

The Carmel Wine Walk by the Sea Passport, $65, provides tasters with a flight at their choice of any nine of 14 participating establishments. And you don’t have to use all your coupons in one visit. The passport is not date sensitive—and it’s transferable, too.

A bonus: each tasting room on the walk offers recommendations for dinner at dog-friendly restaurants that will waive corkage for bottles purchased at Wine Walk tasting rooms.
