The San Francisco SPCA Veterinary Hospital is a 24-hour Veterinary Center where a portion of every dollar you spend on the care of your pets helps support their charitable veterinary care programs and our Shelter and Adoption Center.

The state-of-the-art Veterinary Center saves the lives of their clients' pets while generating critical funding to ensure that the cats and dogs living in their shelter are placed in healthy and loving homes.

San Francisco SPCA veterinary hospitals are proud to be among only 12% of veterinary practices accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The veterinary teams see nearly 30,000 patients and perform more than 54,000 exams each year.

The SF SPCA Veterinary Hospital is open seven days a week (except major holidays) for appointments, pharmacy and retail. The hospital is open 24 hours for emergency (including holidays).

The SF SPCA saves the lives of hundreds of injured and abused cats and dogs every year but they cannot do it alone. Their work is not possible without community support and generosity from clients and donors like you who care about saving the lives of pets in need.
