Access to the trail is located off the following public streets: Highway 116, Occidental Road, Grey Street, Graton Road, Green Valley Road, Ross Station Road, Ross Branch Road, and Pajaro Lane. There is no day-use parking fee. The trailhead parking lot and picnic area on the south side of Ross Station Road where trail intersects road; Limited street parking is available at the west end of Pajaro Lane.

The trails are paved for walking, bicycle riding, and roller skating. An unpaved equestrian trail runs parallel to the paved trail and offers beautiful views of farms, vineyards, and other agricultural lands. It’s easy, it’s pretty and hiking its 1.8-mile length will burn off just enough calories to allow you to splurge on a meal at The Barlow, a complex housing more than three dozen food and drink producers and artist studios. The Laguna de Santa Rosa Trail, which opened in 2012, stretches from Highway 12 to Occidental Road just outside Sebastopol, skirting the Laguna de Santa Rosa, Sonoma’s largest freshwater wetland. more »
