This week, the DogTrekker® team says goodbye to Maya, a rescue pup who came to us from Monterey Bay Labrador Retriever Rescue and became the heart of our journey at DogTrekker.com. Her soft eyes and wagging tail welcomed all who met her, human and hound.

As our Director of Barketing, she reminded us that branding with kindness is a path worth taking, and that every pawprint left behind is a story of second chances. Maya journeyed beside us for nine years, guiding our steps toward heartfelt gatherings with other dogs and their people at adoption events, destinations throughout California, and neighborhood gatherings. Her presence continually reinforced the joy of simply being together on the road.
Though she has crossed the rainbow bridge, her spirit remains in every trail we follow, every shelter we support and every dog family we welcome. Farewell, gentle friend; your legacy travels on. May your memory guide our steps, today and always.
