Alibi Truckee Public House brings Alibi’s beer-and-good-times energy into historic downtown Truckee. Opened in June 2017, it’s set up as an easy place to gather—communal indoor seating, a big heated outdoor beer garden, and frequent live music that fits the town’s laid-back pace.
Dogs are welcome on leash in the outdoor beer garden (as long as conditions allow), and they aren’t allowed indoors. That makes Alibi a strong pick on patio days—grab a table outside, get comfortable, and let the pup relax at your feet while the humans settle in.
On the food side, the kitchen leans “upscale pub fare with a worldly flair,” and a few menu staples stand out for sharing. The Alibi Mustache Pretzel comes with house-made beer mustard or beer cheese, and there are flatbread pizzas plus hearty plates like the Wagyu burger and beer-braised bratwurst. Beer is the main event: the lineup rotates, but the menu often includes house options like Alibi IPA, Chance of Clouds Hazy IPA, and Alibi Kölsch, and they also offer beer flights plus cider, wine, and non-alcoholic choices.
