Shasta loves her tennis ball

A vibrant dog park bathed in sunlight features abundant greenery with mature trees, offering ample shade for leisurely outdoor activities. In the distance is a well-equipped playground that presents an additional activity area. An inviting picnic table spreads out nearby, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or taking relaxing breaks from play. A neatly-placed trash bin aids in maintaining the park's cleanliness for everyone's enjoyment. Dominating the scene is a generously wide dirt path gracefully curving through the expanse of grass, promising exploratory walks and lively fetch games.

This is our 15.5 yr old black lab Shasta. We live in Shingletown in Northern California. We are 9 miles from Lassen Volcanic Park. Redding and Whiskeytown are a 45 minute drive away.

We live in the most beautiful area of California. She still loves her tennis ball, and although she has slowed down, she still delights in playing in the snow. The kayak picture is last summer at Lake McCumber near our home.

With mountains, trails, and a river running through it, Redding is an outdoor paradise perfect for group retreats. Enjoy 300+ sunny days a year, nearby national parks, and top-notch hoteliers and venues. Whether it’s a conference, tour, or family event, Choose Redding for adventure and successful gatherings!
