ResQ Animal Coalition is a small, volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal adoption and rescue organization located in Redding. Their primary focus is terriers, pugs, Pomeranians, poodles, bichons, Shih tzus, papillons and many small mixed breeds.
They occasionally place rare breeds in rescue such as havanese, Welsh and Tibetan terriers. They also take on the “unadoptables” – those who come from puppy mills, hoarders, or abusive situations or who are considered “too old” to deserve a loving home for the remainder of their lives.
ResQ Animal Coalition believes in the quality of their adoptions, not the quantity. They take extra time and effort to ensure their adopters and animals are carefully screened to provide the best match for both the adopter and the pet.
