Tanzanite Community Dog Park is a 2-acre, fully fenced, off-leash dog park located within Tanzanite Community Park in Sacramento. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the dog park portion, and you’ll need to keep your dog on leash on the way. Follow the paved path past the skate park to the southeast corner of the park near the edge of the pond.
Here you’ll find Tanzanite Community Park Dog Park, equipped with a large grassy play area, a water fountain with faucet to fill your dog’s bowl, benches, waste receptacles and waste bags. The dog park has a great view of the pond as well. Please note that this park does not have a separate areas for small and large dogs, so it may not be the best dog park for little dogs.
