Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run

April 6, Pasadena

Join Pasadena Humane’s Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run, a top fundraiser supporting animal rescue programs. Enjoy a scenic walk, explore the vendor marketplace, play in the Sit, Stay, and Play! Training Park, savor food truck treats and enter the doggy costume contest. Festivities start at 8 a.m., with the walk kicking off at 9 a.m.

Bring your furry friend to Little River Inn for Pup Palooza, a fun-filled celebration of dogs. It’s your chance to support the Mendocino Coast Humane Society. Show off your dog in various contests, visit pet-focused vendors, and take advantage of educational sessions designed to enhance your pet’s well-being.

DogFest

Woofstock

May 4, Novato

Give your pup a rockin’ day at Marin Humane’s Woofstock. Enjoy live music by Fleetwood Macramé, along with food trucks, beer, wine and a free Kid’s Zone. Shop local vendors, meet rescue groups and support animals in need. Leashed dogs are welcome. Event organizers encourage guests to bring a pet food donation for the Pet Safety Net program.

The Fur Ball

May 10, San Jose

Join the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) for The Fur Ball at PayPal Park. The fundraiser supports HSSV’s efforts to build a world where all animals can thrive, all people experience the magic of the human-animal bond, and all families are able to care for their pets. Canine companions are encouraged to attend.

Dog Days at Oracle Park

May 17 and September 27, San Francisco

Bring your pup to Oracle Park for a PAW-SOME day with the SF SPCA as the Giants take on the Athletics. Enjoy a costume contest, on-field parade and more tail-wagging fun. Partial proceeds support the SF SPCA’s life-saving work. Dogs need a ticket to sit in designated Dog Days sections. A second round of Dog Days festivities takes place on September 27.

Wild Blue Dogs Summer Camp

June 2 to 8, South Lake Tahoe

Head to Lake Tahoe for Wild Blue Dog Summer Camp, a fun-filled, week-long camp focused on training and activities for dogs. Campers and their pups enjoy access to 33 acres of a completely fenced 4-H camp facility, including a private beach and dock on Lake Tahoe. Several accommodation types are available.
