As Big Bear Lake warms up in 2026, the events begin

Big Bear Polar Plunge is coming April 18 at 11 a.m.! Run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake and raise funds for Special Olympics Inland Empire. For a minimum $50 donation, you can participate in the coolest event of 2026! Plungers will have the opportunity to earn incentives, party with friends and help support Special Olympics athletes and programs.

Then, mark your calendar for the Big Bear Puptopia Festival, returning for its third year the weekend of July 25, 2026. Expect a full day of tail-wagging fun. Play on the Pawground, relax in the K9 Lounge, catch stunt shows, pamper your pup at the Spaw, or test agility in the Pupformance Zone. Don’t miss this ultimate dog-friendly celebration.
