Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue 2018

A vibrant dog park bathed in sunlight features abundant greenery with mature trees, offering ample shade for leisurely outdoor activities. In the distance is a well-equipped playground that presents an additional activity area. An inviting picnic table spreads out nearby, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or taking relaxing breaks from play. A neatly-placed trash bin aids in maintaining the park's cleanliness for everyone's enjoyment. Dominating the scene is a generously wide dirt path gracefully curving through the expanse of grass, promising exploratory walks and lively fetch games.

If you're seeking a calm, easygoing companion for your road trips who's also happy to just hang out with you around the house, look no further than 6-year-old Charlie, who's seeking a new home through the adoption program at Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue. This guy has a mild demeanor, pays attention, and likes to please. When out and about, he just wants to get along with everybody, human and canine. When barked at by more excitable dogs, Charlie keeps his cool. Hey, he even gets along with cats!

Charlie's just one of the dogs, from young and bouncy to mature and mellow, currently awaiting  their forever homes on BAGSR's adoption page. If one of them calls out to you, fill out an adoption application to arrange a meet and greet!

Not adopting right now? Want to help German shepherds? Like pasta? Has BAGSR got an event for you. This Saturday, June 16, head to Santa Rosa, where an epic pasta feed takes place at Vinehill Druids from 6 to 9 p.m. Besides lots and lots of delicious pasta, there's bingo, some choice raffle items, and an irresistible silent auction — in short, plenty of opportunity to have a fun evening and spend some money for an excellent cause. Like Charlie and his pals.
