Bone Appétit: Dog-friendly dining in Yosemite Mariposa County

By: DogTrekker Staff
Four people sit around an outdoor table, engaged in a tabletop game with drinks beside them. Laughter and smiles fill the air as they enjoy each other’s company. A large dog lies contentedly nearby, savoring his meal of Bone Appétit gourmet pet food. The woman in the middle leans down occasionally to give him affectionate pats. The scene is lit by natural sunlight, softened by overhead shade canopies that provide a comfortable atmosphere for both humans and their furry companion.

Castillo’s Fine Mexican Food

Sticks Coffee

Of course, dogs love this place — it’s called Sticks, after all.

Happy Burger Diner

Decked out with vintage vinyl records and their trademark happy face — as well as the “Largest Menu in the Sierra” — The Happy Burger in Mariposa will put a smile on your face (and your dog’s too) with its diner favorites and Americana charm.

Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner — or maybe just a quick break away from the Yosemite beauty to enjoy a locally brewed beverage, be it coffee or beer — this is just a small collection of the dog-friendly dining options in Yosemite Mariposa County. Typically, if there’s an outdoor patio, well-mannered dogs are allowed to join you at your table. But be sure to call first to confirm.
