Groveland
A gateway to Yosemite National Park, the historic Gold Rush town of Groveland has drawn seekers for more than 170 years. During the Gold Rush and later in the 19th century, miners came here to dig for treasure. The Groveland Hotel and the Iron Door Saloon have quite the history and are worth a visit.
Today’s visitors travel to Groveland both to experience the past and for nearby outdoor adventures in the High Sierra.
