1. Dates and Eligibility

The “DogTrekker CTS 2025 DogCation Contest” (the “Giveaway”) begins October 6, 2025 at midnight, and ends at 11:59 PM on October 15, 2025. DogTrekker Inc. (“Sponsor”) may change dates or terms without notice.

Open to legal U.S. residents, age 21 or older, excluding employees or agents of DogTrekker Inc. who are/were registered or attended the CalTravel Summit 2025. No purchase necessary.

2. How to Enter

Enter by dropping a business card at The DogTrekker.com table during CalTravel CTS 2025 or completing and submitting the entry form at https://dogtrekker.com/CTS25 during the event or prior to the entry deadline, 11:59 PM on October 15, 2025. Limit one entry per person. Duplicate entries are void.

3. Selection of Winner

Winners will be randomly drawn from eligible entries in October/November 2025 and notified by phone or email. Winners must claim prizes within 14 days or forfeit. Odds depend on total qualified entries.

4. Identification and Taxes

The DogCation winner must provide valid name, address, Social Security number, and complete eligibility and release documents. Taxes or fees associated with prizes are winners’ responsibility. Winners may receive IRS Form 1099-MISC for prizes valued over $600. The Giveaway is void where prohibited.

5. Release

By entering or accepting prizes, participants agree to:

• Be bound by these rules.
• Release the Giveaway entities and their affiliates from liability related to the Giveaway or prize use.
• Waive rights to claim ambiguity in rules.
• Allow the Sponsor use of their name, voice, and likeness without compensation.

Personal information collected follows DogTrekker’s Privacy Policy. Partners Visit Mendocino and the Skunk Train will access the collected data under this policy.

6. Prize Details

The winner will receive a three-night stay for two guests—and dogs, of course—at the Stanford Inn by the Sea – Historic Farm & Eco-Resort on the Mendocino Coast. The prize includes daily breakfasts and a vegan dinner at Ravens Restaurant, plus a handcrafted redwood outrigger canoe (or bicycle) adventure with on-property Catch-A-Canoe. Breakfasts and the dinner do not include alcohol or gratuities.

Plus, 25 entries will win a limited DogTrekker 15^th Anniversary NO DOGS LEFT BEHIND T-shirt.

Promotional value is $1,500. Good for one year (expires October 15, 2026). Reservations required. Limited black-out dates during holidays. No cash value.

7. Conditions and Restrictions

Prizes not redeemable for cash/credit. Winners responsible for transportation, hotel taxes, and occupancy taxes. Subject to availability and blackout dates. Sponsor not liable for technical failures or lost/incomplete entries. Sponsor may cancel or modify Giveaway due to technical issues.

8. Rules and Decisions

Violation of rules results in disqualification. Official rules available here. Questions directed to dave@dogtrekker.com. Sponsor’s decisions are final.

9. Disputes

Issues concerning Giveaway rules or rights shall be governed by California law. Entrants indemnify Sponsor and associated agencies against third-party claims related to entry materials.
