Culinary gems for people and pups

A vibrant dog park bathed in sunlight features abundant greenery with mature trees, offering ample shade for leisurely outdoor activities. In the distance is a well-equipped playground that presents an additional activity area. An inviting picnic table spreads out nearby, ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or taking relaxing breaks from play. A neatly-placed trash bin aids in maintaining the park's cleanliness for everyone's enjoyment. Dominating the scene is a generously wide dirt path gracefully curving through the expanse of grass, promising exploratory walks and lively fetch games.
New Noyo Harbor Inn Organic Bitters.

This season, HarborView Bistro & Bar gives first-time guests and repeat visitors exciting new reasons to make a reservation. Special treats include an expanded whiskey menu and Cigar Lounge, plus a buzzworthy dinner series that spotlights top winemakers from the west coast and beyond. As with so much at Noyo Harbor Inn, these one-of-a-kind events promise gracious, dog-friendly hospitality.

While HarborView has always poured some of the region’s best wines, a fresh whiskey list also caters to guests with a taste for craft spirits. Spanning an impressive 17 pages, the menu includes bourbons, ryes, American craft and single malts, and a wide selection of scotch and world whiskies. Sip on something special in the inn’s Harborside Cigar Lounge, where staff can recommend cigar-whisky pairings or you can bring your own favorite cigar to savor.

Remember to watch the inn’s website for upcoming dinner series events, including a December 11 evening with winemaker Shalini Sekhar. One of California’s up-and-coming wine stars, this accomplished artisan has crafted pinot noir releases for Anderson Valley’s Waits-Mast Family Cellars since 2013. Through Ottavino, her exclusive label, Sekhar also earns attention for standout cool-climate whites like grüner veltliner and chardonnay.

Sekhar will discuss her shift from classically trained flutist to vintner during the December dinner. In addition to sharing her engaging story, she’ll talk about some of her most noteworthy wines as they’re paired with dishes by the Noyo Harbor Inn’s culinary team. Reserve your ticket today to guarantee space for all two-legged and four-legged guests in your party.
