Agnew Meadows Campground is located in the Reds Meadow Valley, just west of Mammoth Lakes, California. Popular with large families, this campground provides access to some of the most spectacular wilderness in the Sierra and many outdoor activities such as horseback riding, fishing, hiking and photography.
The campground is a combination of standard, equestrian, and large group sites.
Only open in summer, Reds Meadow road is a narrow, single lane road. Not recommended for trailers or RVs due to narrow width.
Directions:
Take US 395 to State Highway 203. Head west to and through the town of Mammoth Lakes. At the 2nd traffic light, turn right onto Minaret and continue up the mountain past Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge and Minaret Vista Station.
