The park is situated between Richardson Bay – an arm of San Francisco Bay and the Marin Bike path, a segment of the San Francisco Bay Trail system. Framed by Sausalito and Strawberry Point, the San Francisco skyline is visible from the park and 2571-foot Mount Tamalpais, Marin County’s dominant landmark, fills much of the park’s western view.
Clean, safe, well-tended and very active, the Mill Valley Dog Park is among the most scenic and enjoyable dog parks in the United States. The park is fenced along its western border with the Marin County Bike Path. Richardson Bay bounds the park on its eastern and southern sides.
