Beal’s Point Campground is one of two locations on Folsom Lake that allows overnight camping. Barbecue pits, shade areas and large grassy areas can accommodate many family picnics and other activities as well.
Beal’s Point Campground has 69 family campsites that will accommodate tents, trailers and motorhomes up to 31 feet long. Full hookups are provided in the RV loop of the campground (sites 50-69). There is also sanitation dump station available. Piped drinking water and wheelchair accessible restrooms with showers are available.
The water level at Folsom Lake dictates the type of recreation and length of the season. During years with normal precipitation the main recreational season is May through Labor Day in September. During the remaining months of the year use of Folsom Lake drops considerably.
