Big Bend Lodge is a small 1940’s resort that sits on a remote and idyllic section of the South Fork of the Eel River in Mendocino County.
They are open from late-May through mid-September. General reservations open on February 1.
The lodge welcomes friendly dogs in cabins 9 & 10. Dog owners are required to sign a “dog contract” at check in.
If guests show up with dogs in cabins other than 9 & 10 they will be charged a $100 fee on top of the normal $15 per night dog fee and will not be able to book the lodge the following year. If they are in cabins 5 or 6, their dog will not be allowed to stay
A reminder, please only bring friendly dogs, who socialize well with other dogs and humans. If there are any issues with your dog, you will be asked to vacate cabin immediately and you’ll still be responsible for the payment of your entire stay.
