Blackbird Park is a 9.93‐acre community park in the North Natomas area of Sacramento. This well-maintained park opened in 2021 and features a community garden, 2 playgrounds and 2 dog parks.
The park has large grassy areas with ample room to play games and picnic tables. Since there aren’t any mature shade trees, it does get hot in warm weather, and the park doesn’t have restrooms. A large parking lot makes parking easy.
A wheelchair accessible path winds through the park and the community garden is equipped with approximately 58 plots plus 4 ADA plots, a common area, composts bins, a storage shed with community tools and two tables.
