Char-Pit is a classic burger joint in King’s Beach. There’s plenty of outdoor seating where your dog can join you as you try an Aloha chicken sandwich, gyro or burger. The menu also includes char-grilled turkey, ribs, fish & chips, frosties, shrimp baskets and more.
Char-Pit began as a walk-up hamburger stand in 1962. ‘Char-Burgers’ were only available during the summer season until 1977 when the building was enclosed and the year-round operations began. For over four decades, locals and visitors from all over the world have enjoyed the fantastic food and fun at Char-Pit.
