Established in 1861, Charles Krug Winery stands as Napa Valley’s oldest winery and is home to California’s first public tasting room, which opened in 1882. Visitors can explore the historic Redwood Cellar, now a world-class hospitality center offering curated tasting experiences. The estate also features the Cucina di Rosa salumeria, serving cheese and charcuterie boards daily, with seasonal offerings like wood-fired pizzas on weekends.
Charles Krug Winery warmly welcomes families and their canine companions. Dogs are permitted on the estate grounds and in designated outdoor areas, provided they remain leashed during the visit. While outside food and picnicking are not allowed, guests can purchase wines to enjoy at their leisure in the picturesque outdoor spaces.
