Chimney Beach is a secluded, dog-friendly beach on Tahoe’s Nevada side and is easily accessible from Highway 28 – if you can find a parking place. And to do that, you’ll need to arrive early in the morning, as there aren’t many available.
It’s a 1/2 mile walk from the highway to the beach, which has sparkling clear water and gorgeous views. Due to the private, secluded nature of Chimney Beach, you may encounter nude sunbathers, particularly if you wander the trail south of the beach.
The beach is six miles south of Incline Village and three miles north of Glenbrook Bay. No facilities.
