Cima Collina produces artisan wines from small Monterey vineyards. The idea of an “artisan wine” is the partnership with growers who meticulously cultivate vineyards, the insistence on using only carefully chosen fruit, and the creation of wine on a barrel-by-barrel basis.
Cima Collina is pleased to offer this new canine-inspired wine: Howlin' Good Red. This is a rich, ripe, red blend made up of Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc from three different vintages. This doggone good Monterey County Red Wine is to drool over–ripe, luscious, fun and just right with that BBQ bone or when the pack is over for a party.
It’s even more of a tail-wagger because Cima Collina will donate 25% of the profits from the sale of this wine to The SPCA of Monterey County (www.spcamc.org) for the wonderful work they do for our furry friends!
The tasting room is open daily. ?Please check winery website for days and hours of operation.
